Kacy - Practice Manager
Kacy Robinson is the practice manager for Avenues Pet Clinic. She has been with Avenues since November of 2012 and has been a Veterinary Practice Manager since 2008. She enjoys the wide diversity of clients and patients with whom she works, and enjoys learning from her staff.
When she is not working, she is a Level III Search and Rescue Canine Handler with Rocky Mountain Rescue Dogs, Inc. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Rocky Mountain and serves as their Public Relations Representative and Photographer. She lives with her Canine Search Partner, Uintiah, and her other Golden Retriever, Wahsatch.
Kacy lives for a challenge and an adventure, which makes veterinary medicine and search and rescue a perfect fit for her passion. Fide Canem!
Emily - Technician
Emily was raised by science teachers in the deserts of southern Nevada, where she learned to love the unique wildlife, and care for everything from horses to tarantulas.
She has a passion for biology, and loves working with animals. At the Avenues Pet Clinic, she enjoys assisting with surgical procedures and getting to know all of our wonderful patients.
Jacob - Technician
Jacob is a pre-veterinary student studying Biology at the University of Utah. He has grown up with a wide variety of pets, and has a passion for working with animals. He has a hamster named Jo Jo, along with three cats, Kashi, Miyu, and Milo. His very best buddy, however, is his chocolate lab, Maggie, who’s been his companion for the last 11 years.
A Salt Lake native, Jacob has grown up with the mountains in his backyard. He loves to ski, hike, and camp all across outdoor Utah. Jacob looks forward to continuing his learning of veterinary medicine with the goal of improving the lives of other’s pets.
Christine - Receptionist
Christine has worked with Dr. Ponce and the wonder Avenues Pet Clinic community for almost a decade. She loves providing support and education to great people who bring their companions to Dr. Ponce for care.
During her time at the clinic, Christine has fostered and found homes for more than fifty animals, many of whom continue to come to the clinic and see Dr. Ponce for their health care needs.
Although Christine has continued to pursue her education and is now a registered nurse, she enjoys spending as much time as possible with her "furry patients."
Julie - Receptionist
Julie grew up in Seattle and worked at Banfield Pet Hospital as a receptionist and Tech. In her free time she loves to sing, and also loves to cook. She also loves going for walks or runs on the treadmill or in nature and she loves football, especially the Seahawks.
She has had numerous pets from dogs and cats to goats and chickens. She loves to learn new ways to care for your furry friends, and looks forward to assisting you with furry family members.
Annette - Technician
Annette is owner of the Dawgs' Howse - Pet Sitting and Dog Walking and is a health educator. She is a retired professional vollyball player. She is fortunate to have traveled a great deal and is originally from Michigan.
She enjoys learning about other cultures, animals, people, music, food and much more.

Amy - Technician
Amy recently moved to Utah from California, where she worked at a small veterinary clinic for 3 years. Over the years, Amy has worked with a diverse group of animals including farm animals such as cows and chickens, exotic animals like owls and tortoises, and those fuzzy animals that are so close to our hearts: cats and dogs.
In her free time, Amy enjoys hiking with her husband and snuggling on the couch with her 4 cats. She also volunteers with Hawkwatch International where she is training to give educational presentations with hawks, owls, and falcons. She also currently enrolled in the Penn-Foster Veterinary Technician Program.
Amy - Technician
Amy has been working as a veterinary technician since 2005. She grew up on a farm, discovering early on that she had a deep compassion for animals. She enjoys spending her free time hiking and hanging out with her Puggles, Rusty (6) and Tucker (3).
Sheree - Technician
Sheree has been working with animals for 28 years. She has had dogs, cats, frogs, fish and many pocket pets. She has five Children, and 15 Grandchildren with one on the way, and one great husband. She loves spending time with the grandchildren, camping and cross stitching.
She has been out of Utah for 14 years and has been back home one year and loves being home with family and friends. She worked with Dr. Ponce many years ago when they were starting their careers.
